Happy Days
HAPPY DAYS Happy Days was conceived by the Rev Canon Ken Harris in 1985 when he was vicar of Hargrave and Huxley. The aim was to expand the scope of the annual village fete and promote the joy of living in our rural community. It then blossomed under the auspices of the Parochial Church Council and became also a means of raising essential funds to help maintain St Peter's Church and to give a proportion of monies raised to both local and national charities. The Happy Days events were soon established as being held annually during the last weekend of June and have since expanded by holding other events throughout the year. |
